Straws

The average American uses 38,000 straws in their lifetime. All you need is one.

Americans trash millions of plastic straws every day. A surprising number of those seemingly harmless little straws end up in the ocean, where they are mistaken for food by a variety of marine species.

The good news is that the movement to kick plastic straws is gaining momentum in the U.S. On May 30th, New York City joined a growing list of cities and states to propose anti-plastic straw legislation. The following day, food service company Bon Appétit announced it’s removing plastic straws from all of the company’s 1,000 cafes. Klean is excited to support this groundswell by offering a reusable alternative to plastic straws. Join the movement. #BringYourOwn
